  • bizarro day

What do you do when someone you’ve never met, whose work you’ve never seen, whom (who? whom?) you’ve never even HEARD of, writes a blog entry about you. And not a nice one. J’ACCUSE! Apparently, this person feels I’ve taken her idea and passed it off as my own. In a little freebie I put out recently. I assure you I have not.

After letting her know, as nicely as possible, that she is mistaken, and subsequently being scolded and accused of threats, I am going to just let it go. I think my reputation can stand up to unfounded assaults by this individual.  But yeesh. It sure takes a lot out of a person.

    In happy news:
Sam got a sprained ankle and is walking on crutches but IT IS HEALING!
I had a long day at my VERY FULFILLING AND GRATIFYING JOB!
Though my personal children tried my patience today I DID NOT THROW A SHOE AT ANYONE!
My tired, stressed husband IS INCREDIBLY AWESOME AND SUPPORTIVE AND LOVING!
My still unfinished mother’s day gift is a REALLY COOL LIGHTBOX AND IS GOING TO BE SO USEFUL!
My February Lady Sweater needs buttons but OTHERWISE IS COMPLETELY FINISHED!
Even though my reputation has been maligned I HAVE LOTS OF SUPPORTIVE REAL AND IMAGINARY FRIENDS WHO KNOW WHAT A MORAL, ETHICAL AND GENERALLY GOOD PERSON I AM.

See how good I am at looking on teh bright side?? And you love me, right?

MY LIFE IS GOOD YOU OLD BAT! (Nods to Randy Newman)

Ran, I’m tired. Why don’t YOU be the boss for a while.

  • Good for you on the unthrown shoes!

  • I’m sorry your reputation was maligned.  That stinks!

  • The internet is messedd up. I think it gives people keyboard muscles and they type things they would never say to your face. And lots of people read it, and have no guage of character or truth when hearing it. BAH.

  • ((hugs)) I’m sorry you were put through the wringer by this stupidity. Just remember that Karma is a b*tch and what goes around will eventually come around. Good for you that you took the higher road when so many others wouldn’t.

  • Q still reads xanga? …On a more related topic: Yes you are ethical, moral, and generally good Pam. I’m utterly shocked that YOU were attacked like that. And even after you politely explained that it was a misunderstanding? I’m going to make a snap judgement about someone I have never met and say that they are clearly irrational and probably just unhappy with their lives. Glad tha Sam’s ankle is healing, poor not-so-little-anymore guy!

  • Yes, we most definitely love you and know you to be of the highest ethical standard – some peeps are just ridiculous with their self-righteous pettiness. ((HUGS)) to you, and I’m glad you are not taking it to heart.

  • {{{HUG}}} I hope today is a brighter day.  You have better things to do that deal with this ridiculosity (I made a word.)

  • libelous and ridiculous.

  • This imaginary friend certainly loves you, admires you, respects you and supports you, and knows what a wonderful, honest, ethical and moral person you are.  And you’re also a fantastic knitwear designer (who clearly has no need to steal anyone else’s idea, since you have such great ones of your own) xxx
