I am:
Working on an exciting new knitting pattern.
Sore from going to the gym yesterday.
Trying to keep my promise to blog more frequently.
Uh…..Ok, here’s a funny Sam:
Grandma Lynn (aka Bubbe) was here for dinner last night. She spent the afternoon with Eli. At dinner we were talking about her job search. Sam said, “Grandma, I have a great idea for a job for you! How about one of those people who load up boats! A boat loader.” He was 100% serious. Lynn goes, “A stevedore?” Sam didn’t know why we thought it was so funny. It was.
I know there was some long funny story about Eli I was going to tell you but it escapes me. Perhaps tomorrow.
Scott put all (or some) of our finances into a website called mint.com. He sent me this email:
I set up an account on Mint.com, which has super easy tools
for tracking spending. In the four months from Sept through Dec, we’ve
spent almost $3000 at Starbucks.Turns out he did it wrong, so those numbers were way off, it was just a few hundred dollars. Still not great, but not crazy! How much would you have to go to Starbucks to spend three grand in four months? I don’t even go there so much — I go to the local coffee shop and make my morning lattes at home.
Let’s see… other amusing tales… nope I got nothing. I’ll try again tomorrow. Carry on!
Sam, Eli and a friend at reading buddies last week. Sam adores his cute little reading buddy! Two or three more pictures if you click through the photo to flickr…

Do ya have to wear stripes to go to your school?
Cute!
$3000 at Starbucks! That’s so funny. What’s even more funny is that Scott really thought he had something on you, and it turns out to be his calculation error. Way, way funny!
I use mint as well. I like how it send you emails to let you know where you stand with your budget.
That would be a lot of Starbucks! I wanted to let you know that I started the Oh Honey Hat last night.
Thanks for the kind comments on my blog.
